Michelle Gilmore

I started drawing early as a child, using my mother catalogs, magazines as my references. My family didn't nurture my early talents a grammar school teacher encourage me to pursue art. My early influence that inspire me was Mad and Crackled cartoon magazines within these pages begin my fascination for pen and ink and I began drawing with blue, black ballpoint pens around the house. I have been doing commission portraits offline by word of month from others, but it was a dream of mind to showcase and start selling my artwork online, which came about in 2016 so I'm a work in progress to internet marketing and social media.

Chester Johnson

Pointillism portrait is the artist's father Chester Johnson whom recently passed and she did this portrait as a tribute. Her father was the number one African American bridge champion in the United States and well known in ABA (American Bridge Association).
